Delight in the culture of our local Hmong Community as local youth express their tradition through expressive dance and symbolic costumes. This series of performances features dancers from Hmong Southeast Puavpheej headquartered in Newton, NC.

• 5Rhythms: Dance Movement for Every Body!

Saturday, September 30th 12:30pm - 2:00pm, The Green Room Community Theater Lobby

Gabrielle Roth created the maps of the 5Rhythms -Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness. This basic class in 5Rhythms movement is lead by Karen Chapman of Asheville 5Rhythms. You are invited to learn to be grounded in your fee and create gentle movements with the hips while allowing your head and body to be free, with joyful, playful movement in your arms and hands, and most importantly-- finding inner peace!
