Local authors expose their literary works to the community. Hosted by CVCC Redhawk Publications, our own unique local press that promotes regional authors and artists.

• Poetry Reading for Kids

Saturday September 30th 11:00am - 11:30am, Main Catawba County Library - Newton

A kaleidoscope of poems, presenters and presentations that invoke memories, wit, wisdom, passion and a bit of everything in ways only poetry can. Area emerging poets--- including kids from Central Latino and Poetry Hickory, share their work and talk about what inspired the poems and what moves them to create in verse. Circle around and prepare to be moved in ways that may surprise you!
